The Bassett cribs are made of wood and have a metal mattress support. The drop side hardware is plastic. The cribs have a label on the footboard or headboard with that reads "Bassettbaby" or "Bassett Furniture Industries, Inc." in addition to a model number and production date.
Not only must your baby's convertible crib match the nursery decor, it must be safe and sturdy. Bassett's are designed to grow with your little one. Attractive details such as its thick slotted posts and arched back make the Bassett convertible crib a worthy centerpiece for any nursery. With a variety of sizes, styles and finishes, you're sure to find the perfect convertible crib for your baby room decor.
The simple design of the Bassett crib makes it very easy to remove the crib's front panel. Unlike other crib designs, the Bassett cribs are outfitted with a stationary front panel (it does not slide up and down). The front panel is attached with screws to the front legs of the two side panels. Remove the mattress and bedding and then unscrew the front panel from the unit. Store it for future use, either to turn the toddler bed back into a crib or to use it as the footboard for the full-size bed orientation.
Baby furniture is an investment. With a 4 N 1 crib, you get the maximum value for your money. Bassett convertible cribs give you four beds for the price of one as the crib can become a toddler bed and eventually a "big kid" bed too. Your child will be spending a great deal of his or her time in your new nursery. Consider adding a changing table, dresser or chest to add to an already safe, warm environment for your child.
