The Aveeno sunscreen class action lawsuit was filed by Connecticut resident Heidi Langan, who says she bought two tubes of Aveeno Baby Brand Natural Protection Sunscreen Lotion with Broad Spectrum SPF 30 at two separate stores in Connecticut in 2012 for her five-year-old son.
Despite these “natural” claims, the class action lawsuit lists 23 unnatural, synthetic ingredients that the Aveeno natural sunscreen lotion products contain, and 11 in the bar or sunscreen stick.
My children really love the smell and texture of Aveeno sunscreen. Because they all have eczema, I'd tried many brands and products. This is the only one they like.
Langan is asking for a jury trial and for certification of her proposed Aveeno sunscreen lawsuit class action. She is also seeking compensatory damages, punitive damages and whatever else the court decides is appropriate.
